Ramadan Series: What's in my Eid Basket? [VIDEO]

I absolutely love the beautiful month of Ramadan. It is a great time to cleanse your soul, to work out if you are disciplined, to appreciate the luxuries in life that other parts of the world do not have access to and of course it is the time of year where we ALL say "Yes, even water." (If you know, you know). You have all these fantastic memories of Ramadan from your childhood and when you become a parent, you want your own children to have their own positive memories. So, when your children are young, this is the best time to instil new traditions in your family and soon enough once you do it every year, your children will know what Ramadan means to your family.

One of the traditions that I have implemented is to give the kids an Eid Basket the night before Eid. It's such a great way to get the kids excited for Eid as they'll have a basket full of treats. If you want to see what I put in my children's basket, I have uploaded a video on it:
